Iris Siberica Shirley Pop is a magnificent Siberian Iris with deep blue-violet velvety blooms adorned with elegant white veining on the falls. This graceful cultivar forms tall, upright clumps of fine grass-like foliage topped with elegant blooms in late spring.
The rhizome is shipped bare root.

Iris Siberica rhizomes will arrive with foliage trimmed. Leave at least a few inches of foliage on the rhizome when you plant.
 
Build up a small pile of well-drained to moist soil in the center of the planting hole.
 
Center the rhizome in the pile, roots down, and then bury it about three quarters, leaving the top exposed. The tops of the rhizomes should be visible; be sure to spread the roots out below the soil. Planting too deeply may result in few or no flowers.
 
Firm the soil around the roots and water thoroughly to remove any air pockets in the soil and give Iris a better chance of strong growth.
